yesterday I made this Protein Power Goddess Bowl (http://ohsheglows.com/2011/05/12/lightened-up-protein-power-goddess-bowl/) and it was so good! I highly recommend it! 

And today I think I’m gonna make this strawberry yogurt cake (http://www.foodbuzz.com/blogs/5553169-fresh-strawberry-yogurt-cake) which looks delicious!

I am actually cooking/baking things….I never thought I’d see the day….

on my way to my internship at around 8am some truck driver kept beeping at me and I looked over at him and he smiled and waved…..awks…at first I thought something was wrong with my car and he was trying to tell me…but nothing appeared amiss….then I thought maybe I know him? but he didn’t seem familiar ….so it was just creepy especially since he stayed near me until he got off at his exit…with a few parting beeps of his horn…

also, some kids were on a field trip today and kept looking in the office window where I was working so I smiled at them. Then I heard one of them refer to me as a “hot tamale”. Keep in mind that the usual ages of kids at the museum are 1-7. just what.

strange day, man.

honestly, I am just so appalled at the lack of professionalism and courtesy shown by people. I just don’t understand why it’s so hard to communicate and to get back to people. 

I’m just fed up.

Yesterday, I looked death in the face AND SURVIVED.

Jess and I were on our way to the hookah bar when it started downpouring. We literally couldn’t see anything in front of us, it was horrible. Also, at one point 3 lanes magically became 2 lanes and a truck almost killed us nbd.

Then when we got into Worcester, one of her windshield wipers decided to break and came clean off her car…the driver’s side windshield wiper. THANK GOD it wasn’t raining too hard anymore so we made it to the hookah bar and had a mostly uneventful journey back home. 

but yeah…WE SURVIVED AND I AM SHOCKED AND GRATEFUL.

I really wish that I had an apartment in boston this summer and i was living and working in the city. 

I hate being back at home.

I mean I obviously love my friends and everything but I wanna be in the city, exploring and meeting new people and not living in my parents’ house. 

And I mean I do live in the city during the school year but it’s different because I’m always so busy and don’t really get a chance to explore.

Leora has an apartment and I stayed over Sat. night and ugh it was just so great and I was so jealous.

I need to reiterate how awesome it would be if people actually responded to me via email.

hopefully it will be filled soon because I’ll start going crazy if I don’t have enough to do!
